Penneo + EUTL
Penneo A/S is a qualified trust service provider according to the eIDAS regulation and appears on the positive list of approved trust service providers.
Penneo has been certified as provider of qualified certificates for electronic signatures, seals and timestamps, and management of remote qualified electronic signature/seal creation devices.
What is EUTL?
The European Union Trusted List (EUTL) is a public list of over 300 active and legacy Qualified Trust Service Providers (TSPs), each accredited to deliver one or more qualified trust services defined under the EU eIDAS regulation. These services include Qualified Electronic Signatures (QES) for individuals, Qualified Electronic Seals for businesses, and Qualified Electronic Time Stamping services that can be used to prove the time of existence of digitally signed and sealed data and documents.
Each EU member state supervises QTSP based in its own country. In order to achieve accreditation as a QTSP from its national supervisory body, each provider must first be audited by an independent conformity assessment body, which must itself be accredited by its supervisory body. However, once accredited, the QTSP’s services are recognised in all other EU countries as fully compliant with the eIDAS regulation.
